Cheers! Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation to Hold 3rd Annual Wine Tasting to Benefit Cardiac Services Programs

Guests to experience an international wine tasting

Holmdel, NJ - Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation invites the community to its 3rd Annual Wine Tasting fundraiser on Thursday, September 8, 2011 to benefit Bayshore Community Hospital's Cardiac Services Programs. The event will feature premium wines from around the globe, accompanied by an extensive array of hors d'oeuvres that are sure to rouse the gastronome in everyone. The event's steadfast co-chairs, Fern and Peter Esposito and Mary and Dr. Elias Lehaf have once again graciously offered their time to organize this event.

"Our goal is to increase the support we provide to the hospital through this popular event, surpassing the monies raised last year with 125 attendees benefiting Bayshore's Oncology Services," says Fern Esposito. "Special thanks to the Scaduto and Azzolina families of Spirits Unlimited and Food Circus Foodtown, our event sponsors, for donating the wines to be featured this evening."

The 3rd Annual Wine Tasting will be held at the newly renovated Addison Park in Aberdeen, N.J. Addison Park's General Manager Anthony Rotondo and Head Chef Albino Botelho are delighted to assist with the selection of delicious signature hors d'oeuvres to pair with the wines. In addition, a silent auction will provide opportunities for guests to take fine wines and other delicacies home to enjoy.

Bayshore Community Hospital provides one-stop cardiac diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation close to home for the residents of Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Bayshore also provides a breadth of minimally-invasive cardiovascular treatment options through its multi-specialty Cardiac Catheritization Laboratory and Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) Suite.  Additionally, Bayshore's comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Program allows patients to gain heart strength and stay healthy.

"As we continue to grow the breadth and depth of services at Bayshore Community Hospital, events such as this one become increasingly important to fund new technologies and programs for the communities we serve," says David Flood, president of the Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations. "This year monies raised will support the Cardiac Services program at Bayshore, which will become a signature service for the hospital."
