Renovations to Emergency Department continue at Bayshore

Holmdel -  As was previously communicated, Bayshore Community Hospital began renovations to the Emergency Department in late November, 2012.  All of these renovations will present a more modern, sleek appearance on the space and will improve the overall flow in the ED to provide a better experience for our staff, as well as patients and their families.

We’re pleased to report that Phase 1 is completed and Triage has relocated to its new space. Phase 2 will begin today. The previous Triage area will be sheet-rocked off so the new Welcome Ambassador desk can be constructed. Phase 2 will conclude at the end of January.

The Welcome Ambassador program at Bayshore will officially launch on
March 17, 2013. The Welcome Ambassador program will  streamline the Emergency Care Center experience by providing a premier first impression of the hospital through initial registration, rounding on ECC patients, and operating the hospital switchboard.

Thank you once again for your cooperation and support during this time, as we move forward in advancing Bayshore’s mission to provide exceptional care to the community in an environment that is comfortable and close to home.
