Meridian Health Says ‘Thank You’ to Team Members in Celebration of National Hospital Week

Neptune, NJ - A hospital is a place where the circle of life plays out every day – birth, life, joy, pain and healing. It is a place where people receive and offer support from caregivers, and where extraordinary things can happen.  Hospitals connect communities and families with the health and wellness resources necessary to lead healthy, happy lives. Every year, National Hospital Week celebrates physicians, nurses and team members committed to providing care and support for patients and guests.

Whether a team member provides direct patient care or works in a supportive role, they all contribute to the patient experience.

“At Meridian Health, every hospital team member plays an important role in providing the best patient experience,” says John K. Lloyd, FACHE, president of Meridian Health. “Hospital Week gives us an opportunity to thank our dedicated physicians, nurses and team members for their commitment and service to our community.”

The Meridian Health family of hospitals, including Jersey Shore University Medical Center and K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital in Neptune, Ocean Medical Center in Brick, Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin and Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, maintains its standard of excellence in care because of the team members  who do what they do best every day: provide the best patient experience.

Meridian hospitals are consistently rated among the best in New Jersey, and receive numerous state and national recognitions for unparalleled patient care and clinical excellence by organizations that include U.S. News & World Report, FORTUNE Magazine and Modern Healthcare Magazine.

As the largest employer in Monmouth and Ocean counties, Meridian Health salutes its more than 13,000 employees for their unwavering dedication and commitment to “Taking Care of New Jersey.”
