Great Place to Work® and Fortune name Meridian Health as One of the 20 Best Workplaces in Health Care

Neptune, NJ - Meridian Health is honored to announce that after surveying nearly 30,000 health care employees, Great Place to Work® and Fortune have recognized Meridian Health as one of the 20 Best Workplaces in Health Care in the nation. This ranking comes from an anonymous survey of health care employees administered by the workplace culture experts at Great Place to Work®.

“We are extremely proud of our ongoing commitment to a culture where all of us are engaged and dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients every day,” says John K. Lloyd, FACHE, president of Meridian Health. “Ranking on Fortune and Great Place to Work’s 20 Best Workplaces in Health Care list speaks to the value we place on creating an exceptional work environment for all of our physicians, nurses and team members.”

Meridian Health and the 19 other winning companies were selected based on the evaluations of nearly 30,000 health care workers who were surveyed using the Trust Index©, Great Place to Work’s employee assessment survey. The 20 Best Workplaces in Health Care ranking is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work® and Fortune based entirely upon employee survey feedback from published Great Place to Work® Reviews.
“Health care organizations have a responsibility not only to their employees but to their patients to provide workplaces that support and bring out the best in their people,” says Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work® United States. “Great workplaces are constantly monitoring and analyzing their employees’ workplace experiences and then taking action to improve them. Ranking on this list a great indicator that these companies’ efforts to create great workplaces are resonating with their staff.”
