Bayshore Community Hospital Welcomes Endocrinologist Lydia McGuigan, D.O.


Holmdel, NJ - Endocrinologist Lydia McGuigan, D.O. has joined the team of respected physicians at Bayshore Community Hospital, now part of the Hackensack Meridian Health family. She joins the team of Jennifer Zaitz, D.O. and Parini Patel, M.D. at Meridian Medical Group – Specialty Practice. Dr. McGuigan has extensive training in endocrinology and specializes in diabetes, thyroid problems, obesity, osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian disease, and adrenal and pituitary disorders.

Dr. McGuigan graduated Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB) in Kansas City, MO in 2011 with a Doctorate of Osteopathy. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital center in New York, NY. Her work experience includes research experience at Hofstra North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital Center and St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. Dr. McGuigan has presented at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and at the Endocrine Society annual meetings. She recently completed her Fellowship in Endocrinology at Hofstra North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital Center in Long Island, NY.

Dr. McGuigan is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society, and the National Lipid Association. She will be seeing patients at 100 Commons Way, Suite 140, Holmdel, NJ and can be reached at 732-450-2925.
