About the Foundation

Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation is a separate, non-profit charitable organization, which exists to benefit the programs and services of Bayshore Community Hospital and the patients and families we serve.

Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our donor family, 2011 was an extremely successful year for Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation. Through your philanthropic gifts, we were able to assist Bayshore Community Hospital in providing quality, patient-centered health care, as well as education opportunities for our clinical team.

Advancing the education of our nursing staff has always been a priority for Bayshore and through donor funded scholarships, we were fortunate to provide assistance to deserving nurses this year. This generous support, in turn, helped the entire Bayshore community come closer to its goal to achieve Magnet status – a gold standard in nursing excellence of which Meridian Health was the first health system in the nation to achieve.

We are also proud to announce that  last year hundreds of Bayshore team members came together in our first employee campaign as part of Meridian Health, to give back and financially support the programs and services they provide so skillfully each and every day. This overwhelming response reflects the commitment our team has to the care of our patients and their families.

Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation never forgets that it is your charitable kindness that allows us to provide our patients and their families the best health care experience close to home. In 2011, you selflessly supported many important hospital departments including cardiac care, pediatric care and rehabilitation.
