Meridian Health Hosts Annual Meeting to Celebrate Accomplishments


Neptune, NJ - Meridian Health hosted its annual meeting on June 6, 2012, at Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale. Board members, community leaders, physicians, nurses and patients received an update on the organization, including recent accomplishments and achievements, such as several expansion and building projects and Meridian Health receiving FORTUNE Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” in America for the third straight year. A special moment from the meeting featured seven year old Avery Nichols of Beachwood, New Jersey, who led the pledge of allegiance.

“If I had to describe 2011 in one word, it would be outstanding. In fact, it was our most successful year in Meridian Health’s fifteen year history,” said John Lloyd, president of Meridian Health. “Last year was another award-winning year for Meridian with a continued focus on growth.”

The meeting also included the presentation of the Mildred H. Rosa President’s Award Scholarship to nursing recipients Frances Cresci, Jacki Decker, R.N., BSN, Galina Gaczynski, R.N., Heidi Grady, Michelle Hansen, R.N., BSN, Catherine Harvey and Catherine Messina, R.N., BSN, CCRN.
