Bayshore Community Hospital Welcomes New Plastic Surgeon

 

Holmdel, NJ - Bayshore Community Hospital and Riverview Medical Center are pleased to welcome Salem Samra, M.D. to the Medical Staff.  A Yale-trained plastic surgeon, with fellowship training in hand and microsurgery, Dr. Samra has two office locations in Holmdel and Old Bridge.  

Dr. Samra completed his fellowship in hand and microsurgery and residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Yale University School of Medicine, and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, where he graduated with high honors.  Dr. Samra is trained in the full spectrum of plastic surgery, including: craniofacial surgery, breast reconstruction, reconstructive oncology, body contouring, burn surgery, wound care, cosmetic surgery, and hand and microsurgery.

Dr. Samra is also an active volunteer and most recently participated in two surgical missions abroad, where he traveled to San Pedro Sula, Honduras to perform hand surgeries for patients in need, and then to Amman, Jordan where he operated on Syrian refugees.

Dr. Samra is a New Jersey native and high school graduate of The Ranney School in Tinton Falls, where he was valedictorian of his class.  He is now accepting consultations and can be reached at (732) 739-2100.
