Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation to Hold Fifth Annual Wine Tasting to Benefit Cardiovascular Services

Holmdel, NJ - The Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation invites the community to its Fifth Annual Wine and Spirits Tasting Event on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 to benefit cardiovascular services at Bayshore Community Hospital.

This year’s event will feature premium wines from around the globe as well as international spirits and beers — all accompanied by an extensive array of culinary delights. The event’s steadfast chairs, Fern and Peter Esposito have once again graciously offered their time to organize this event.

"Our goal is to continually increase the support we provide to the Hospital through this popular event, to benefit cardiovascular services at Bayshore,” says Fern Esposito. “We would especially like to recognize and thank the Scaduto and Azzolina families of Spirits Unlimited and Food Circus Foodtown for once again facilitating the wines and spirits to be featured this evening.”

The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the stunning Addison Park in Aberdeen, NJ.  A silent auction will consist of a spectacular array of fine wines and spirits, as well as other delicacies for guests to take home to enjoy.

The Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation would also like to extend a special thanks to the practice of Dr. K. George Younan as the Spirits Sponsor for the event.  Dr. Younan, a physician leader at Bayshore, has previously served as medical staff president, director for the Department of Medicine, and as chairman of the Critical Care Committee.

Bayshore Community Hospital, part of Meridian CardioVascular Network, provides cardiac diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services as well as access to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the regional provider of cardiac surgery.  Bayshore has made significant advancements in cardiovascular services since 2010, with plans to build two new heart and vascular laboratories in the near future.

“The development of cardiovascular services has been at the heart of Bayshore’s strategic plan,” says Timothy J. Hogan, FACHE, regional president for Riverview Medical Center and Bayshore Community Hospital.  “We continue to develop new services, in areas such as sleep, wound, specialized surgical procedures and cardiovascular services in order to provide the best health care experience for our community, within our community.”
