Hazlet Junior Girl Scouts Visit With Packages of Care
Junior Girl Scouts from Hazlet Troop 670 visited Bayshore Community Hospital’s Emergency Department bearing gifts for young patients to make them smile and stay occupied during emergency treatment. The cheerful Care Packets filled with coloring books, stickers and puzzles will be appreciated by both patients and the Patient Representatives, who get to distribute them. The young scouts decorated the bags and personalized the gifts.

"The Care Packets really cheer our young patients," says Nancy Schirmer, senior patient representative. "It’s a pleasure to give such creative gifts to our patients and you can see how well each packet reflects the warm personal touch of the Scout who prepared it."
