Wendell A. Smith Appointed To Lead Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation
Wendell A. Smith, Esq., a resident of Holmdel, has been named Chairperson of Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation.

Mr. Smith, a senior partner in the prominent New Jersey law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, has served in leadership roles at Bayshore since 1976, including Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Bayshore Community Hospital for 8 years.

Mr. Smith has been listed as one of The Best Lawyers in America since 1983. He is a charter member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a Fellow of the American Bar Association Foundation. A recipient of the Community Association Institute's (CAI) prestigious Byron Hanke Award, Mr. Smith is a former national trustee of CAI, past president of the CAI Research Foundation, and a charter member of CAI’s New Jersey chapter, where he serves as General Counsel. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the 55+ Housing Council of the New Jersey Builders Association. Mr. Smith is also a frequent lecturer and the primary author of the treatise "New Jersey Condominium and Community Association Law" published by Gann Law Books since 1985.

Mr. Smith received his law degree from the University of Michigan and his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus and Heritage Awards from Johns Hopkins University and a Trustee Emeritus of Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The Bayshore Community Hospital Foundation is dedicated to the development and cultivation of philanthropic relationships with individuals, organizations, foundations and corporations on behalf of Bayshore Community Health Services. The Foundation's fundraising efforts benefit the enhancement of programs, services, state-of-the-art equipment and technologies for the organization.
