Senior Services
Bayshore Community Health Services offers one of the strongest seniors' programs in the Monmouth County area.

Serving an area largely populated by adults over age 55, Bayshore Community Health Services offers a menu of senior services that includes a wide variety of preventive health programs, as well as specialized services at facilities dedicated to serving seniors' healthcare needs.

For a schedule of senior lectures, use our Events Calendar. To receive Bayshore's senior publication, Healthy Horizons, visit Health Education or e-mail us.

In addition to the Bayshore Health Care Center, Pleasant Valley Adult Day Care Center at Bayshore and Pleasant Valley Adult Day Care Center at Spotswood, Bayshore Community Hospital is committed to providing quality health care and services to all sectors of the community, including senior adults.

BISS (Bayshore Informational Senior Services)
BISS volunteers assist senior adults who need help with their bills, insurance forms, advance directives and paperwork.

All volunteers are trained to understand Medicare and insurance regulations. They'll assist you with claim filing and appeals for reimbursement and, most importantly, help you to understand your claim. Along with the volunteers, you'll compare various types of insurance coverage and determine what's best for you. For more information call 732-739-5998.

Senior Passport Diners Club
Monmouth County residents age 60 and older can join the Bayshore Senior Passport Dining Club and receive nutritious, low-cost dinners seven days a week, any day of the year.

To apply, simply stop in the Volunteer Office at the hospital, show proof of age and fill out an application. Your ID card will be mailed to you.

Under the plan, meals include soup, salad, dessert and beverage, or hot entree, dessert and beverage. For more information call 732-290-7051.
